It is also the starting point of the "Shin-Etsu Trail," which goes around 80km of satoyama.
About 25 km in the plateau is positioned as the main trail.
The course connects 3 peaks, 3 wetlands, 4 ponds and marshes, and a virgin beech forest dotted with trees. You can choose the course accordingly.
Even first-timers can enjoy snowshoe hiking with peace of mind.
